Solenne
A café site that behaves like a morning — origin, craft, rooms and a seat, not a PDF menu in a template.
01
Overview
A demonstration café website. The brief was atmosphere with utility: origins, flavour, craft, rooms, evening, and a reservation path — paced like walking through the door.
02
The challenge
Hospitality sites usually photograph well and work badly. Guests need the feeling and the table. Most templates give you neither.
03
Our approach
Scroll is the visit. Threshold, first light, origins, taste, craft, menu, rooms, evening, then sit. Content is short. Sequencing does the storytelling.
04
Design direction
Oak, steam, gold hour. Type that can hold a line of poetry without collapsing the menu. The interface stays warm and unhurried.

05
Development
A long-form marketing site with interactive origin and flavour modules, a day’s menu, and a seat-hold form. Built as a composition, not a stack of generic blocks.
06
Performance
Image-led pages are a budget. Motion respects reduced-motion. The story should feel expensive, not heavy.
07
Security
Reservation fields are validated. Demo contact details are part of the fiction of the room — this is a studio piece, not a live booking system for a real café.
08
Final product
A live demo at the café URL — come sit, in the interface, before anyone picks up a phone.
09
Results
Shipped as hospitality craft. No invented covers or reservation numbers.
